Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) batting unit thrashed MI’s inexperienced bowling line up all around the park. While defending the target of 278 runs, SRH skipper Pat Cummins was the pick of the bowlers who took 2 scalps and conceded 35 runs on a batting track which was quite commendable. Pat Cummins rotated his bowlers smartly and his field placements were top notch.

SRH though would be worried that they gave away 246 runs as they had a golden chance of winning the match by a massive margin of 50-70 runs as later in the competition, NRR (net run rate) might come into the equation. SRH have got a deadly right handed batter Heinrich Klaasen present who now is looking unstoppable and is whacking the bowlers to all corners of the ground.

SRH though can’t get complacent as their next match is against Gujarat Titans (GT) on 31st March at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. SRH’s head coach Daniel Vettori and skipper Pat Cummins would be aware of GT’s threat as they are quite invincible at their home ground and can dismantle the opposition on the given day.

Pat Cummins bowled his four overs in different spells- Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra was seen speaking on his You Tube channel. Aakash Chopra pointed out that SRH skipper Pat Cummins bowled the difficult overs for the team and said that he used his fingers very well. Aakash Chopra stated that Pat Cummins was simply outstanding and said that he marshalled his troops smartly.

“I think Pat Cummins’ bowling was the game-changing thing. He bowled his four overs in different spells. He bowled the difficult overs, which we criticize him for, that he doesn’t do that, but he did that this time,” said Aakash Chopra.

“He used his fingers very well. He was outstanding. There was a three-over phase in between, Pat Cummins and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were bowling, where Mumbai were suddenly left behind and Hyderabad went ahead. I think that is where it actually changed,” he added.
