Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) fans would be over the moon as their side convincingly defeated the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Shivam Dube, the pinch hitter played a match winning knock of 34 runs in 28 balls and struck 4 fours and 1 six. Shivam Dube was targeted by RCB’s bowlers as they bowled short ball barrage but couldn’t succeed in it.

It was a collective effort from CSK as they easily chased down 174 runs with 8 balls left in the match. CSK’s management would be happy that they won in the absence of Devon Conway (*who is injured). Astonishingly, CSK didn’t name Moeen Ali in the playing 11 as it was quite a shocker to see that. Moeen Ali is someone who can contribute in all the 3 facets of the game and is quite ruthless with the bat in hand.

The side though still has a lot to ponder as their inexperienced bowling line up was exposed. RCB at one stage where in a spot of bother at 78-5 in 11.4 overs but the likes of Dinesh Karthik & Anuj Rawat took the team’s total to a challenging 173 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Tushar Deshpande was taken to the cleaners as he gave away 47 runs in his 4 over spell

I have learnt to finish the game from MS Dhoni- Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube was seen interacting with the media. Shivam Dube pointed out that it is quite enthralling to finish the game for CSK and he wants to do it every game. Shivam Dube stated that it feels very good when you finish the game that too during the first game of the season.

“It was amazing. Finishing the game for Chennai is always something that amazes me. That’s what I have learnt from Mahi bhai, and I try to do it every game. It feels very good when you finish the game like this, especially during the first game of the season. So, it always feels special,” said Shivam Dube.
