Pakistan skipper Babar Azam thrashed Nepal’s bowling lineup with his strokeplay as all the variations were proving to be ineffective. Babar Azam smashed 151 runs and throughout his knock, the batter looked in sublime touch and it seemed as if he wanted to make a statement that he is not a finished product. Pakistan are all set to lock horns against India on 2nd September at Pallekele, Sri Lanka.

The Men in Blue have a promising record against the mighty Pakistan cricket team. The sides clashed in the 2018 Asia Cup which was a 50-over tournament and India completely dictated the terms. Rohit Sharma-led side will have an upper hand as India not only bat deep but have got batters who can play a fearless brand of cricket.

Indian batting unit might just be the best in the world- Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh was seen speaking on his YouTube channel and stated that this time both teams are evenly matched. Harbhajan Singh pointed out that once again it will be Pakistan’s bowling unit vs India’s batting lineup and made a huge remark on the skipper Babar Azam.

“The ODI format suits Babar Azam better than T20, because he gets time to play his game, and he has done well in this format as well. Every time we say India are favorites against Pakistan in the recent past, but this time around it is an even battle,” said Harbhajan Singh.

“As always, it will be Pakistan’s bowling against India’s batting to watch out for in this match. Pakistan bowlers are capable of doing it all, they can bowl at a high pace, get the ball to swing, and bowl yorkers and bouncers as well. At the same time, the Indian batting unit might just be the best in the world,” he added.

Intriguing contest on Cards

There are chances that rain may play the spoilsport and at the same time, we can witness a shortened game which will be of no less entertainment. India will have to carefully negate the threat of Shaheen Afridi & Naseem Shah as the duo can create havoc with their express pace and immaculate line & length.

India on the other hand would be banking on the speedster Jasprit Bumrah to create an impact. The pacer would be tested as making a comeback to the ODI format won’t be easy, especially against the likes of Imam-ul-Haq & Fakhar Zaman who would be keen to dictate the terms with their brisk strokeplay.
