Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam captured in a camera while receiving a signed jersey from India’s prime batter Virat Kohli. This moment happened after the completion of the match, and former Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram hit Babar Azam for such a moment after a bad performance. Wasim Akram was furious with Babar Azam for his performance who couldn’t convert his start.

Pakistan was stunned by India with seven wickets in hand and 19 overs to spare. After the post-match presentation, a clip went viral in which skipper Babar Azam revived a signed jersey from Virat Kohli. In the moment Wasim Akram feels after such a disappointing performance, all this should be done behind closed doors.

Pakistan performed very badly in the game against India. It was supposed to be a high-voltage encounter, but the archrivals put their bats down and just bowled out on 191. This was a very low-grade performance from a strong team like Pakistan. Their batters could not answer the Indian bowlers’ questions.

Their bowling also looked very ordinary; rather than showing some fight against India, every bowler looked clueless in front of the aggressive Indian batting line-up. They lost their lines and length completely; Shaheen Afridi was off color and bagged for a boundary at the very first ball of the inning. At the end, Team India comfortably won the match with seven wickets in hand and got their third consecutive victory in the ICC World Cup 2023.

While answering a fan question, here is what Wasim Akram replied

“I can see Babar Azam is receiving two signed shirts from Virat Kohli. Everybody is showing this clip again and again. But after your fans are so hurt after a disappointing performance in the match, this should be a private thing; it should not be done on open ground,” said Wasim Akram.

“That is exactly what I said when I saw the picture of me getting the shirts publicly, not privately. Today was not the day to do this. If you want to do it, if someone has asked you to get Virat’s shirt, then you can do it after the game in the dressing room as well,” he added.
