In a press conference after the match, Mohammed Siraj expressed that he about his thought of never playing in the World Cup. Mohammed Siraj pointed out that the environment in the side is pretty good and stated that the side is taking one match at a time.
“To be honest, I never thought that I could play in the World Cup for India because I have come from so low. But now that I am playing for my team, it is a matter of achievement for me. I have always heard that India vs. Pakistan are high-intensity and high-pressure matches. Today, I saw that, and I felt really good out there,” said Mohammed Siraj.
“To be very honest, I did not feel that the team was playing a match between Pakistan and India. This is a World Cup, and every match is very crucial for us. We are focusing on one match at a time. We have played three matches so far and have won three games. The environment on the team is very nice as well,” he said.
