Pakistan’s destructive left-handed batter Fakhar Zaman hasn’t been able to trouble the scorers. Fakhar Zaman has looked in two minds whether to attack or defend due to which he has got into the shell. Even against Nepal, the batter looked scratchy and had to toil a lot during his run.

Pakistan’s openers Fakhar Zaman & Imam-ul-haq will have to lay the foundation for the rest of the batting unit as every time, as the skipper Babar Azam won’t take the team out of the muddle. With India’s pace attack comprising Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj & Jasprit Bumrah; it won’t be easy for the Men in Green on 2nd September when the two nations would clash against each other at Pallekele.

Fakhar Zaman’s body language is suffering- Ramiz Raja

Ramiz Raja was seen speaking on his YouTube channel and said that the management should drop Fakhar Zaman for the betterment of the team ahead of the high-voltage clash against India. Ramiz Raja pointed out that if Imam gets out early then it creates pressure on the team.

“He played three matches against Afghanistan and couldn’t make a mark as well. His body language is suffering, and Pakistan needs an in-form opener. If Imam (Ul-Haq) also gets dismissed cheaply, it creates pressure,” said Ramiz Raja.

“Pakistan needs to assess Fakhar. I believe they should rest him, and give him some time out. Sidelining him is better for him as well as the Pakistan side. He’s a good player, Pakistan has given him chances. But against India, with the form that he has, that chance is not worth being taken,” he added.

Fascinating action on Cards

Pakistan will have to carefully negate the spin threat of the left arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav as he has developed a lot of variations in the recent past. Kuldeep Yadav along with Ravindra Jadeja/ Axar Patel can fox the batters as those 20 overs would be quite decisive.

Pakistan most likely would be aiming to put a score on the board if they win the toss as we have seen that they can defend a target around 270 with ease. Skipper Babar Azam will have to use the raging left arm pacer Shaheen Afridi in short & effective spells in the high-octane clash.
