India‘s fielding was quite sloppy during the initial phase of the match. India dropped 3 catches as the star fielder Virat Kohli too dropped one which was quite astonishing. It seemed as if the players weren’t ready for the challenge. Ishan Kishan was quite a bit casual in his approach which astounded everyone.

RAVINDRA JADEJA AND MOHAMMED SIRAJ BRING INDIA BACK INTO THE GAME
Ravindra Jadeja is cutting through Nepal’s middle order and pegging them back as he took three quick wickets as usual he finished off his overs in a flash not giving any time for the batsman to settle. He became the highest wicket-taker for India in the Asia Cup.
Mohammad Siraj came back strongly for his second spell as he picked up three vital wickets as he removed the well-settle Aasif Sheikh for a well-made 58 off 97 balls which is a slow innings but a responsible one for Nepal.
NEPAL’S GREAT BATTING DISPLAY
The Nepal batsman showed great character with the bat though the openers had as many lucky escapes with three drop catches and two reviews going in favor of them.
Every batsman contributed to the team’s total as the openers and Sompal Kamal with his late hitting down the order scored 49 leading from the front for them.
They finished with the score of 230 in 48.2 overs with 9 balls still left to play as they got all out with Siraj taking the last wicket.
Rohit Sharma & Shubman Gill put on a match winning century partnership
After the game resumed Indian to chase 145 in the allotted 23 overs which is a little above 6 runs per over.
The openers got off to a conscious start and after the powerplay captain turned on his beast mode as he scored boundaries at ease.
Rohit reached his 49th half-century with a boundary as both Rohit and Gill brought up the century partnership Gill also got to his well-deserved half-century
Both Rohit and Gill carried their bats with unbeaten knocks of 74 and 67 respectively as India won the match by 10 wickets and 17 balls to spare.
