During the post match press-conference, Suryakumar Yadav said that he is enjoying his new role in the team i.e. which is of a finisher. Suryakumar Yadav stated that he took a bit of extra time before going berserk during the chase.
“That was what I was dreaming of when I started playing the ODI format. Try and bat till the last as much as possible and end the game for the team. I could not do that today, but I am loving my new role in the team,” said Suryakumar Yadav.
“I have been wondering what has been happening to me. The color of the ball is the same. The teams are the same as well. The bowlers are the same, but I think I was hurrying a bit in the past. I thought, Let’s take a little bit more time and then see what happens,” he added.
