Indian cricket team would be ecstatic after winning a thriller against Australia in the 1st T20I match. Suryakumar Yadav smashed a barnstorming knock of 80 runs in 42 balls and struck 9 fours and 4 sixes. It seemed as if Suryakumar Yadav was toying with the bowling unit.

Suryakumar Yadav had come out to bat when the team was in a bit of precarious position at 22-2 in 2.3 overs while chasing 209 runs. Suryakumar stitched a formidable partnership of 112 runs in 60 balls with Ishan Kishan as the duo tormented Australia’s bowling line up and dictated the terms.

Suryakumar though would be unhappy that he couldn’t take the team home as the side almost made a mess of the run chase. It was the brilliance of Rinku Singh who played a match winning cameo of 22 runs in 14 balls and won the game for a billion people

The bowlers will have to do something different for Suryakumar Yadav- Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra was seen speaking on his You Tube channel. Aakash Chopra lavished praise on Suryakumar Yadav and said that the batter forces the bowling unit to play on his terms which is very interesting. Aakash Chopra also pointed out that the bowlers would be tested to try something out of box to stop Suryakumar Yadav.

“Suryakumar Yadav – the good thing about his batting is that he puts pressure on the bowlers that they will have to do something different for him because he will hit if they bowl him a normal ball,” said Aakash Chopra.

“As soon as he walks out to the middle, you say that a deep fine leg is required, so you have to bring third man and mid-on in. So suddenly you are forced to play on Surya’s terms, which is very interesting,” he added.
