Indian cricket team suffered a heart-wrenching defeat in the 2nd T20I match. Ruturaj Gaikwad‘s ton went into vain as the batter would be distraught with his own performance. It would be quite disappointing for Ruturaj Gaikwad who was in a beast mode and paced his innings smartly and yet to be on the losing side and won’t be able to digest the fact.

Australia’s star batter Glenn Maxwell smashed a barnstorming ton and looked in complete control from the word go. Glenn Maxwell seemed as if he was toying with the bowling unit as all the variations were proving to be ineffective against the Big Show “Glenn Maxwell” such was the dominance of the right handed batter.

Australia with the win in the 3rd  T20I match would feel that they are still in the series as earlier they had lost 2 matches on the bounce that too quite one sidedly. All eyes will be on Matthew Wade whose tactics were quite questionable in the 3rd T20I match as his decision to give the 20th over to Maxwell raised a lot of eye-brows.

Ruturaj Gaikwad Batted Extremely Well- Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra was seen speaking on his You Tube channel and heaped praise on Ruturaj Gaikwad for his outstanding performance in the 2nd T20I match. Aakash Chopra pointed out that Ruturaj Gaikwad was in a reconstruction phase when the skipper Suryakumar Yadav was hitting well.

“Suryakumar (Yadav) batted the way only he can. This is an appreciation video for Ruturaj Gaikwad because he had scored 22 runs off his first 22 balls and you were thinking what was happening. It was a reconstruction phase but Surya was hitting and Rutu was still taking his time,” said Aakash Chopra.

“210-220 had to be scored. You couldn’t have even fought in anything less than that. Then Ruturaj Gaikwad changed gears. Certain players make you realize repeatedly that technique does not shackle you, it liberates you. He batted extremely well. He was brilliant, scored 123,” he added.
