IND vs AUS: Mitchell Marsh Gives A Cryptic Message On Travis Head Ahead Of 1st T20I Match Against India

Australian cricket team would be keen to assert their dominance when they lock horns against India on 23rd November at Vizag. All eyes would be on Travis Head who was in the red-hot form in the ODI WC 2023. Travis Head would be eager to dominate the terms after a near-perfect ODI WC 2023.

Now all the attention would be on ICC T20 WC 2024 which is in June. Aussies who won ICC T20 WC 2021 will be eager to prove to the World that their triumph wasn’t a fluke by any means after a disappointing performance in T20 WC 2022 where the side wasn’t at his best despite all star players present in the squad.

Mitchell Marsh was having an interaction with ESPNcricinfo. Mitchell Marsh who has been rested for the marquee T20I series said that it looks unlikely that the destructive left-handed batter Travis Head would feature in the first T20I match. Mitchell Marsh pointed out that if Travis Head plays then it would be a miracle.

“Heady was definitely in the votes. I’m not sure he’ll be playing that game. I’m no selector or coach but if he plays that game it will be a miracle,”  said Mitchell Marsh.

Travis Head has got a wide range of shots and we should not forget that the batter has got an impeccable record across all the 3 formats. Travis Head also can play the role of the 6th bowler as he has shown good control over his line & length which makes him a complete package.

Cricket Australia (CA) would be proud of their decision not sending back Travis back home despite the batter having a fractured hand. Travis proved to be the ‘X’ factor for the mighty Aussies as his batting prowess took the pressure off from the star batter David Warner in ODI WC 2023.
