Sanju Samson once again has been ignored by the Agit Agarkar-led selection panel for the T20Is against Australia which are set to commence from 23rd November at Vizag. Sanju Samson may not have a good average in T20Is but he can change the complexion of the match with his wide range of shots.

Jitesh Sharma plays for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the IPL and in recent times, the batter has shown his hitting ability. Jitesh Sharma can be used as a floater as he is someone who doesn’t fear to step out against the bowlers. Jitesh though will have to most probably wait for his chance as Ishan Kishan will get the nod ahead of him.

Ishan Kishan’s batting position may be changed and he might bat in the middle order after a horrendous performance at the top of the order. Ishan is perhaps trying a bit too hard and in doing that the left handed batter has found new ways to get out.

There is no doubt that Sanju Samson is a mighty player- Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra was seen speaking on his You Tube channel. Aakash Chopra feels that the Ajit Agarkar led selection panel has moved on from Sanju Samson and now are showing faith in Jitesh Sharma who has shown encouraging signs as a pinch hitter. Aakash Chopra also mentioned the reason why Sanju Samson is not in the T20I squad.

“Jitesh Sharma is ahead of Sanju Samson. I feel it is a huge statement from the selectors about whom they are looking towards. There is no doubt that Sanju Samson is a mighty player and a match will be played at his home (Thiruvananthapuram) as well,” said Aakash Chopra.

“His lifesize poster will be made but he won’t be there. The entire stadium will sing – ‘We miss you Sanju Samson’. I have started feeling that they are not thinking about him because he opens or plays at No. 3 in the IPL and they don’t have a place for him there,” he added.
