India won the tournament; KL Rahul how they celebrated, and he also hopes this time Indians will also repeat the same on their home soil.

India was one of the strongest teams in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and they eventually won the title after 28 years. Kl Rahul shared some memories that he created while matching and celebrating India’s win.

I was in Bangalore watching the match- KL Rahul

KL Rahul was having an interaction with Jio Cinema and recalled the 2011 ODI WC moment. KL Rahul said that when India lost 2 wickets during the run chase of 275 runs, he thought that India would lose the contest.

“I was in Bangalore, watching the match with a few friends. I remember when we lost two wickets; all of us thought the match was slipping away. But later, when we turned victorious, we drove to the bustling heart of Bangalore. It was an incredible scene for all of us; everyone was celebrating and jumping. It was a proud time for all Indians, and I hope we can relive it for our country,” said KL Rahul.

Great chance for India

India is not in an ODI series with Australia just before the start of the 2023 World Cup. They have won the series all ready, as they won the first two matches in a convincing way. In the first match, they beat the Aussies with five wickets in hand, and in the second match, they just outplayed the opposition.

The men in blue did not give any chance to the men in yellow, beating them again with a 99-run margin to pocket the series win. Going into this mega event, India is again the team with the upper hand because of the form they showed just before the mega event, plus their home advantage as well.

They have found the answers they needed to figure out; they have all the boxes covered. Australia, the team that was the top runner going into the mega event, beat the men in blue even without their full strength playing eleven, which is a confidence-boosting thing for the team.
