Since they have already secured the series victory, Team India is expected to rotate their lineup and provide opportunities to players like Jitesh Sharma, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Sharma, and Shahbaz Ahmed.

Looking ahead to the Asian Games 2023 , Ruturaj Gaikwad is likely to captain the team in the 3rd T20 against Ireland, considering that Bumrah will be resting. Considering Jasprit Bumrah’s recent return from injury, the team management is cautious about not overburdening him during the IND vs IRE 3rd T20 match. Another option for India’s playing eleven could be Sanju Samson, as Jitesh Sharma requires game time prior to the Hangzhou Asiad event.
