Ross Taylor, the former New Zealand batter, believes that India is on the positive aspect of Winning the Test match if the pitch favor’s the spinners.

Jadeja and Ashwin’s dynamic duo might twist the game into the hands of India. We witnessed this pair’s fury in the 2nd Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where Jadeja registered his career’s best figures of 7/42 and Ashwin picked three wickets in the game, facilitating India’s win against Australia, by the unassailable lead of 2-0.

Ross Taylor feels that Australia’s experience of playing Ashes series every 3-4 years should come in handy but it could be India who might hold a stronger edge over them. He stated:

“India with Jadeja and Ashwin and if the ball does turn as the game goes on I think that will play it to India’s hands” Ross Taylor told Harsha Bhogle, the moderator of the Session.

India Dominates, Defeats Australia In Border-Gavaskar Trophy To Sweep Their Way In ICC WTC Finals

India, made it to the finals of ICC WTC (World test championship) by defeating Australia in the Border-Gavaskar trophy by an unassailable lead of 2-1. Australia was very close to getting relegated from the top spot but the last game between India and Australia saved them to secure their position in the ICC WTC finals.

However, both team will lack the services of their fast pace bowlers, for India it’s Jasprit Bumrah while for Australia it is Josh Hazelwood. They both are going through an Injury, Bumrah is out due to back injury while Hazelwood’s persistent problems with his Achilles heel has kept him out of the final clash.

Despite, the absence of these two essential bowlers, both team seems formidable and resilient. Thus it will still be a riveting and exciting match to watch.
