Pakistan cricket team is in disarray and will be aiming to dominate the terms against Bangladesh on 31st October at Kolkata. Director of Cricket & Head Coach Mickey Arthur has come under the scanner for his tactics and statements. Mickey Arthur has provided support to the players but that is not doing any good to the team in the championship.
The form of Babar Azam is a concern for the team as the skipper isn’t performing in crunch matches nor making the most of the starts. Recently, his private WhatsApp chats were also leaked with the PCB board which states that the team is not in good hands.
The experienced pacer Hasan Ali hasn’t been able to live up to his caliber and expectations. When Naseem Shah was ruled out of the competition then there were high hopes from Hasan Ali but he has looked scratchy; due to this, there is added responsibility on the duo of Shaheen Afridi & Haris Rauf as a result the bowling unit hasn’t clicked.
Mickey Arthur complains about how ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ wasn’t played- Salman Butt
Salman Butt was seen speaking on his You Tube channel. Salman Butt was quite fumed up on how Mickey Arthur was appointed as the head coach of Pakistan and stated that earlier also he had weird tactics and strategies. Salman Butt also made a comment on Inzamam-ul-Haq’s conflict of interest case.
“When Mickey Arthur was Pakistan’s coach earlier, he used to say that some of our batters play with a very slow strike rate in Tests. Our team used to lose a Test match in three days during that period. I still can’t understand how he is the coach of Pakistan,” said Salman Butt.
“Do you think he has any other role? He complains about how ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ wasn’t played in the stadium or says that it’s a BCCI event. He is a weird character,” he stated.
“There are a lot of wrong things happening at the wrong time. Every news channel is talking about Yazoo International Limited, which has also led to the chief selector’s resignation. However, Inzamam-ul-Haq has denied having any involvement with the company. The good thing is that he stepped down from his post,” he added.
