Defending champions England and South Africa are going to play a match at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Both teams have match winners, and the contest is going to be interesting. In the clash, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra feels it’s really impossible to pick one team. Aakash Chopra believes that both the teams are invincible and the track also suits the teams.

South Africa will be underconfident after a setback from the Dutch team; on the other side, England is also coming off a setback from Afghanistan.

The England team is really looking off-color in this tournament; they lost two matches out of three, and their batting and bowling are not up to par. They played without Ben Stokes in the first three matches, but he has returned for the match.

South Africa is playing another level of cricket in this tournament. They have won two big matches, but they lost to the Dutch team in their last match. So, they will be looking to get back on track against England.

In his video on his YouTube channel while reviewing the match, Akash Chopra expressed the hard-to-picture winner.

“It will be an interesting match, but it’s almost impossible to choose a winner in this match. I have no clue which team is going to win, although my heart wants South Africa to win and pounce on England once again,” said Aakash Chopra.

“The evening game is a mighty contest because it is England vs. South Africa at the Wankhede. It will be the first match of this tournament on this ground, and both are big teams. Both are coming after losing their respective previous matches to small teams: England lost to Afghanistan and South Africa lost to the Netherlands,” he added.

Aakash Chopra also talked about England’s bad situation in the ICC World Cup 2023:

“England’s situation is not good in any case because they lost the first match as well. So, England have won just one match. You defeated Bangladesh in Dharamsala, but after that, you lost one-sidedly to New Zealand, and Mujeeb made you lie down.” he concluded.
