After Pakistan’s victory over the Netherlands, Dale Steyn praised Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali. Even though Hasan Ali has not had the opportunity to bowl with the new ball for some time, he has done his job well whenever he has been called to bowl.
Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali bowled brilliantly against the Netherlands in the first match of the World Cup, taking two wickets with one maiden in 7 overs and giving away only 33 runs with a very cheap economy of 4.7. Hasan Ali had a dream comeback to the International arena and bowled with a lot of control.
Batting first, the batting order of the Pakistani team once again disappointed everyone, and the entire Pakistani team could not play even 50 overs in front of the Netherlands and was limited to 286 runs in just 49 overs, in response to which the Netherlands scored only 205 runs in 41 overs.
Hasan Ali, who was returning after a long time, looked brilliant in the first match of the World Cup and returned to international cricket with an excellent spell. Hasan Ali was included in place of Naseem Shah when he was injured and he did not let Naseem Shah’s absence be felt at all in the first match.

Dale Steyn was having an interaction with ESPNcricinfo and was quite impressed with the way Hasan Ali fared against Netherlands. Dale Steyn was quite surprised that Hasan Ali didn’t speed up but said that he was very effective on his line & length.
“He (Hasan Ali) hasn’t taken the new ball for a while now. It disrupts things when you lose your usual fast bowling unit that opens the bowling. But he came in and did a wonderful job. He didn’t really try and get the pace up to that 140-145 KMPH,” said Dale Steyn.
“He was very effective on his line and length, The other thing that I enjoyed about him was that he had a good smile on his face. It looked like he was enjoying himself. When you are enjoying yourself, things come a little bit easier,” he added.
