BCCI secretary and leader of the Asian Cricket Committee Jay Shah started the discussion when he said that BCCI will not send Group India to Pakistan to play in Asia Cup 2023. Since Jay Shah‘s remark, numerous responses have come from Pakistan including that of previous chief Shahid Afridi.

Shahid Afridi said that Jay Shah’s remark not long before the T20 World Cup conflict between the two nations is wrongly coordinated. PCB excessively responded to the assertion made by Jay Shah, saying that if India doesn’t come to Pakistan, they should avoid the ODI World Cup 2023 which is booked to be held in India.

India’s relaxed attitude resulted in Nepal scoring 230- Kamran Akmal

After these solid responses from Pakistan, more Ex-Pakistan cricketers have posted their responses, including Younis Khan and Kamran Akmal.

“Fans will distance themselves if they don’t get what they want. Jay Shah will be criticized for it. If they had kept the differences aside and put cricket at the forefront by agreeing to play in Pakistan, the Asia Cup would have been a big success,” said Kamran Akmal.

On Monday, September 4, India defeated Nepal in their second group-stage match of the Asia Cup 2023 with a comprehensive 10-wicket win using the DLS method at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Kamran Akmal figured that India were all in all too loose as they were facing a partner country, bringing up how there were a great deal of dropped gets. He expressed that the Men in Blue actually have a ton of shortcomings to address in their bowling division. Surveying India’s bowling and handling exhibitions Kamran Akmal made a huge statement.

“Mohammed Siraj looked off-color. India should not have let Nepal score 230 runs. There were also a few dropped catches early on. This happens when a top team is playing a lower-ranked team, as the bodies of the players tend to be a bit more relaxed,” said Kamran Akmal.

“However, their relaxed attitude resulted in Nepal scoring 230. If those catches had been taken, they would have again been bundled out for about 120 runs. Nepal’s score has given a message to other teams that there are weaknesses in India’s bowling,” he added.
