Fraser-McGurk of 41 off 17 balls and Sam Billings 67 of 35 deliveries, DC easily chase down the total with 23 balls remaining. ADKR Captain Sunil Narine took important 2 wickets Gurbaz and Billings but his team failed to defend the total. Sam Billings was awarded player of the Match for his scintillating knock of 67 off just 35 balls. They are now eyeing their 2nd victory against 2023 ILT20 runner-up Desert Vipers.
On the other hand Desert Vipers with one win and a loss standing 4th at the points table. In their previous game they defeated Gulf Giants by 6 wickets remaining in hand. Chasing a challenging total of 161 Sri Lankan star spinner Wanindu Hasaranga scored magnificent 42 off just 19 balls helped his team securing their first win in this edition of ILT20.
Colin Munro, the skipper of Desert Vipers says that he is happy about the win and credits the team was playing like on unit. Adds that winning the toss was a big factor. Mentions that they started well with the ball and appreciated Hose for playing patiently. Praises Hasaranga for playing a destructive knock and powering the innings.
It’s going to be interesting to see how they perform and whether they can grab that important opportunity to increase their chances for a seat in the race for the playoffs.

Here in Abu Dhabi, the pitch has been batting-friendly, and hitters have loved tying the score. But there have been moments in recent games where hitters have found it difficult to score as easily as they would have liked. We anticipate a fair struggle between the bat and the ball, and we believe there is enough to offer the bowlers as well.
The first-batting team should aim for a total of more than 180–185 runs, in our opinion, as the average first-inning score here is 163 runs.
