KL Rahul recently spoke about overcoming his injury struggles

Rahul stated that the road to rehabilitation was difficult, despite the fact that he has been in excellent form since returning to international cricket after suffering an injury of his quadriceps muscle during the 2023 Indian Premier League.
Rahul stated that he was having physical and mental difficulties, particularly with the World Cup approaching. He was not able to walk for the first three or four weeks, and because of that, he don’t think that it will be possible to make it to the World Cup squad.
“I couldn’t walk for the first three or four weeks [after having a surgery]. I was on the walker and, then slowly started building myself up during all that time. I don’t think it’s possible to make it in time for the World Cup – that’s what the surgeon told us as well. He said it will take five months from the time of surgery,” said KL Rahul.
Rahul, on the other hand, made a full recovery and went on to score 452 runs at an average of 75.33 in 11 matches, which was crucial to India’s World Cup campaign. Further KL Rahul led Indian team to an ODI series victory in South Africa and scored his eighth hundred in the first test match at Centurion .
