Yashasvi Jaiswal, the destructive left handed batter hasn’t been able to dictate the terms so far in Tata IPL 2024. Yashasvi Jaiswal has managed to score 29 runs in 2 innings as his ultra-attacking approach hasn’t been that fruitful. Yashasvi though would be aware of the fact that Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) next match is against Mumbai Indians (MI) on 1st April and MI have a fragile bowling line up as it won’t be a better opportunity for him to get back into the groove.
RR skipper Sanju Samson has been marshalling the troops smartly as against both LSG & DC, they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. All of a sudden, RR is looking a formidable unit as they have got pretty decent amount of depth in both batting & bowling departments which makes them a team to beat in the marquee tournament.
With the ICC T20 WC 2024 around the corner, Yashasvi Jaiswal will be well aware of the fact that he needs to get some big runs under his belt as there is cut throat competition for spots this time around. Yashasvi has had a terrific last year or so as he decimated the England’s bowlers all around the park in the recently concluded Test series as he was a treat to watch.

Trent Boult pointed out that Yashasvi Jaiswal has had a brilliant 15 or so months for India and also with his domestic team and for the franchise team. Trent Boult stated that Yashasvi is desperate to get better. Trent Boult said that Yashasvi Jaiswal is undoubtedly India’s up and coming talents with the bat and he has an exciting future ahead of him.
“Yashasvi Jaiswal is a phenomenal player. Obviously (I have) played with him for a couple of years. I don’t want to say last year was his breakout season but he’s had brilliant 15-or-so months,” said Trent Boult.
“The guy is hungry for runs; he’s desperate to get better. You can see it from the way he trains. He takes that game from the nets straight into the middle. There’s no wonder why he is one of India’s up-and-coming talents with the bat. A very exciting future (is) ahead for him,” he added.
