Former Indian batter Ambati Rayudu praises Proteas youngster Tristan Stubbs who was in red-hot form and smashed boundaries fearlessly. Delhi Capitals have found a new gen batsman and will surely retain him in next season. Tristan Stubbs has shown that he can play effective cameos in 10 odd balls and change the complexion of the match.
Tristan Stubbs has showcased his form throughout the season his explosive batting in death overs was an eye spectacle. He has helped the mighty Delhi Capitals many times to reach big scores and his contribution is immense. It will be interesting to see whether he represents DC in IPL 2025 edition.

Former Indian batter Ambati Rayudu praises Tristan Stubbs for his explosive season. Delhi Capitals will remember Jake Fraser McGurk who opened in the season and showed his class and in the death, Tristan Stubbs showed his class so Delhi Capitals was fulfilled with both players Ambati Rayudu said Tristan Stubbs is trying to adjust himself in AB De Villers’s shoe. Ambati Rayudu is impressed with Stubbs how he plays attacking shots in death and his approach looks very positive. He said:
“Tristan Stubbs is an all-round package. He has bowled a beautiful over and the way he has been striking the ball this season — he hits every length, right from the short ball to a fuller ball. He is also very good against slower ones. I feel he has tremendous talent. He is one of those South Africans in the mold of AB de Villiers. I think he has a long way to get there. But, he looks really good to become as good as AB de Villiers,” the 38-year-old elaborated.
Stubbs earlier was in Mumbai Indians but didn’t receive more chances later he was purchased by Delhi Capitals and he got an opportunity to showcase his talent. This season he scored 378 runs with an awes-trucking strike rate of 190.
