Former Aussie all-rounder and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star player Shane Watson has raised a question over releasing star leggie Yuzvendra Chahal from Royal Challengers Bengaluru during the tenure of Mike Hesson as the head coach of Bengaluru.
Yuzvendra Chahal who had been with over a decade with Bengaluru’s team won matches for them and was a great spinner. After Virat Kohli Bengaluru is known for Yuzvendra Chahal. Being a connoisseur player he was a match-winner and the bowling lineup used to be very dominating of RCB in earlier seasons.

In Ipl 2022 RCB released their star player Yuzvendra Chahal before the mega auction as they had only 4 players to retain they decided to bid Chahal in the auction but the Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was picked over Chahal so they didn’t bother to bid for him and he was sold to Rajasthan Royals. In that season Chahal was the Purple Cap winner for holding the most wickets. Later he started facing backlashes in his career he was unable to make a place in the T20 World Cup squad twice, and he lost his annual contract with BCCI.
This season too he is showing his class and is the contender in the Purple Cap race. 2 days before BCCI declared the squad of the T20 World Cup Yuzvendra Chahal was backed after a long time. Currently, he holds the most wickets in IPL and for India in T2OIS. His impact will surely benefit the Indian team while playing in the USA and West Indies.

Yuzvendra Chahal is the biggest asset for Team India which should be used perfectly and his leg spin is something that batsmen fail to judge and can’t play easily. He bowls very wide of the crease but still his flight balls help him to take wickets. So, he should consider more, and let’s hope he plays like this in the future for India too.
