Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) ends their campaign on a winning note as they thrashed Punjab Kings (PBKS) by four wickets and finished second in the points table so it’s official that Qualifier 1 will be in between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad. Abhishek Sharma continued his purple patch against Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Sunrisers Hyderabad played fearless cricket and aggressive cricket which showed the future of t20 cricket. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma were in red-hot form and kept scared to every bowler throughout the season. The duo would be keen to continue the dictate the terms against the mighty KKR on 21st May in the Qualifier 1.
Pat Cummins lauds Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Reddy
Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins praises Abhishek Sharma as he had a memorable season every match he produced some best knocks and played efficiently well. This season will be remembered for Sunrisers Hyderabad as they played out of the template and such kind of approach you won’t see, this kind of approach needs to take a huge risk and they adhered to their words. Pat Cummins had already stated that we would play aggressive cricket and wouldn’t consider what’s the result. Pat Cummins says:
“I didn’t know many guys coming into this season, but we have played great cricket and had some fun. Great bunch of guys,” said Pat Cummins.
“He is amazing. I wouldn’t want to bowl to Abhishek Sharma. It’s scary as he plays with freedom, not only against pacers but also against spinners,” he singled out the batter.
Pat Cummins later also praised young sensation Nitish Reddy who also played outstanding whenever he got a chance, Pat Cummins said:
“Nitish is a class player, looks mature beyond his age, and seems to sum up the game well, he is perfect for our top-order,” he asserted.
While concluding Pat Cummins said:
“Satisfying and exciting We are playing some really good cricket, excited for what’s ahead,” he concluded.
Hope that Sunrisers Hyderabad will play with the same approach and will bring double excitement next season but this time will they be able to win their second title.
