Team India has ticked another check box for their World Cup 2023, which is scheduled to start by the fall 0f this year. During the first game of the ongoing three-match series against mighty Australians, Mr. 360 of India  Suryakumar Yadav shone as he filled the shoes of a perfect finisher that the team has been seeking for a long time. Suryakumar Yadav showed great mental application against a quality Australian bowling unit.

Yadav’s inning silenced all the critics and cricket pundits, who believed that the Mumbai Indian’s batter could not adapt and access the conditions of the game. Suryakumar was often criticized due to his aggressive style of playing, but during the first ODI,  he played sensibly and stitched a match-winning partnership with skipper KL Rahul.

Suryakumar Yadav who had played the most unconventional style of play during his entire career looked very calm and composed against the Kangaroos. India was in trouble when he walked into the middle with four already in the dugout and Aussies against all odds made a comeback in the match.

Suryakumar tackled the situation very well and played a responsible knock to reserve the win for India. Suryakumar is an exceptional modern-day batter, but was unable to sync his T-20 form into one-day internationals. A lot of experts questioned his place in the side.
