India’s Poor Performance In The ICC WTC Final 2019-21

India had a nightmare of a game in the last WTC finals that they played in 2019, they were outclassed by mighty New Zealand, who won against the Asian-Giants by 8 wickets. Gill said that as a batting group they have learned their lesson and would like to apply that experience. Gill has matured abundantly after that game and is among the few players who has centuries in all the formats.

“We have been talking about some of the things we have learnt as a team and especially as a batting group from playing that match”, hopefully we will be able to overcome the mistakes we made last time”, said Shubman Gill.

The opener is positive about his game and feel confidence going ahead the WTC finals, starting from tomorrow, 7th June onwards.
