ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 India dethroned England and qualified for the final of the T20 World Cup they will face South Africa. Rohit Sharma played yet another brilliant innings and India registered 171 onboard.

Bowlers again did their job well and they sidelined England from the game. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav were the heroes of the match and even a cameo from Hardik Pandya was commendable.

Harbhajan Singh slams Michael Vaughan

Former Indian spin wizard Harbhajan Singh takes a dig at former England batter Michael Vaughan for blaming India for their victory and even says that South Africa should have been with India in semifinal 2 instead of England. Such statements by former player don’t suit them, this all is illogical and ICC decides the venues and teams’ results on their performances, and which team will face the other team is not decided. As the tournament goes ahead some ideas are generated and teams’ performances decide their further road to glory. So, such immature statements should be banned or else don’t write if you can’t think. Michael Vaughan is pretty famous for his hilarious tweets and some banter with other cricketers, especially with Wasim Jaffer. Michael Vaughan said:

Yes, India’s semi-final fixture was pre-determined, but that was to keep the TV audience (Indian subcontinent). Vaughan went ahead, hinting that the Guyana track was a ‘lovely venue pick for India’.

“If England had beaten SA, they would have got the Trinidad semi, and I believe they would have won that game. So no complaints they haven’t been good enough. But Guyana has been a lovely venue pick for India .” wrote Vaughan replying to a tweet.

After this tweet, Harbhajan Singh slams Michael Vaughan relying on his tweet:

“What makes u think Guyana was a good venue for India  ? Both Teams played in the same venue. England won the toss which was an advantage. Stop being silly. England was outplayed by India in all departments. Accept the fact and Move on and keep ur rubbish with urself. Talk logic not Nonsense,” wrote Harbhajan.
