Babar Azam has once again been named captain after playing in a series that ended in a 2-2 draw at home against New Zealand. Babar will captain his team in a series against England and Ireland before the 2024 World Cup.

Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir came out of retirement to bolster the team. At the same time, Babar Azam, who had resigned from his position following the ODI World Cup failure, was named captain once again.

On his YouTube channel, former Pakistani cricket player Basit Ali challenges captain Babar Azam to hit straight sixes for the heavy teams instead of slightly weaker teams like the USA and Ireland. If he does so, he will shut down his YouTube channel.
“I’m challenging Babar Azam. If he hits three straight sixes against the top teams, not against USA or Ireland, the top-tier teams in the World, I will shut my YouTube channel,”
