Michael Clarke said that the left arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav could be the big player for India and pointed out that Kuldeep Yadav has got an amazing wrong un. Michael Clarke stated that spin will play a key role in ODI WC 2023 campaign.
“Kuldeep could be a big player for India. Back of the hand, got an amazing wrong ’un. I still don’t think the batters pick him completely. I think he’s a massive strike weapon for India,” said Michael Clarke.
“Spin is still an important part of your World Cup campaign if you’re playing in Indian conditions. Even if they’re not taking wickets, they can change the pace of the game. They can slow scoring,” he added.
Kuldeep Yadav an Asset
The left arm chinaman over the past couple of years has worked on his line & length. Kuldeep can be seen bowling wicket to wicket as his style of giving extra air to the batters has troubled the dangerous batters. It won’t be wrong to say that Kuldeep’s 10 overs are match defining.
The management would be tempted to play 3 spinners against Australia who don’t have encouraging numbers against the trio of Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin & Kuldeep Yadav. It would interesting to see how Rohit Sharma manages the 3 spinners in the high octane clash.
