England Cricket Board (ECB) astonished everyone by dropping the star batter Jason Roy for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. In the place of Roy, the batting sensation Harry Brook has been included in the squad. This would be the maiden ODI WC for Harry Brook and the batter is tipped to be the next big thing in World Cricket.
Jos Buttler’s side would be keen to defend the title despite not having an encouraging record in ODIs since 2019. The peculiarity of England is that they have got ‘n’ match winners present in the side in the form of Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, and Liam Livingstone which makes them a dangerous unit.
