Former Indian fast bowler Sreesanth has described current fast bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya as an important player for the upcoming World Cup. He said that Hardik Pandya can do in this World Cup what Yuvraj Singh did in the 2011 World Cup and can also be a strong contender to become the Player of the Tournament.

Hardik Pandya has been consistently performing well in the ODI format and not only in batting but also in bowling, Hardik has bowled 10 overs as a fast bowler and all-rounder in the last several matches, in which he has shown the way to the pavilion to many batsmen. Talking about statistics, this year Hardik Pandya has scored 372 runs in 16 ODI matches at an average of 33.82, which includes 3 half-centuries in his name. While bowling, Hardik has also taken 16 wickets in 16 matches.

Hardik Pandya will be important for India- S Sreesanth

“Yuvi Paaji did it for us so if you look at the Man of the Series award and if you think an all-rounder should do it then Hardik Pandya could be close to that award. He will be important for India. Kuldeep Yadav can also win it or be among the top three contenders if he keeps shattering records in the World Cup. Don’t forget Hardik’s fastest hundred. Don’t forget Bumrah’s two five-wicket hauls. Kuldeep Yadav will bowl the best spell ever seen by an Indian spinner,” said S Sreesanth.

“I feel it will be India and New Zealand in the final” – Sreesanth

All of us cricket fans as well as perhaps Sreesanth have still not forgotten the match against New Zealand in the semi-finals of 2019, that is why Sreesanth talked about India and New Zealand playing in the final of this World Cup and he also said that we will play against New Zealand in the semi-finals of 2019. Will take revenge for the defeat.

“I feel it will be India and New Zealand in the final. We will take revenge of the 2019 World Cup and hopefully do something similar to the 50-all-out against Sri Lanka. I am pretty positive and as Indian fans everyone should think about India winning,” said S Sreesanth.

In the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup, we had to face a very painful defeat from New Zealand, which is still present like a bad memory in the heart of every Indian. For some people, it is painful to remember that match because because of that match, it was the last ODI match of the great Indian player Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
