Former Indian speedster S Sreesanth has made a huge statement on the Pakistan cricket team. S Sreesanth believes that Pakistan can’t even beat a C side of the Indian side and beating India in the ICC trophy is another part.
India & Pakistan don’t have a promising rivalry in the ODI WC as India has beaten Pakistan 8 times which is massive given the context of the contests between the two sides. Pakistan perhaps needs to play their fearless brand of cricket rather than getting into the shell.

S Sreesanth was having an interaction with Sportskeeda and was quite vocal about Pakistan’s chances against India in ICC trophy. S Sreesanth pointed out that India’s C team can also outplay Pakistan’s team. S Sreesanth said that Pakistan cannot even dream of playing in Narendra Modi Stadium which is humongous and said if such performances are displayed by Pakistan then they won’t get to play at Ahmedabad stadium again & again.
“Mickey Arthur said we’ll meet in the final. I don’t think Pakistan can ever beat India in an ICC trophy and or in any other event considering the team they have. Even our C team can beat Pakistan’s main XI,” said S Sreesanth.
“Make an IPL XI of players who are not playing, even they can defeat the Pakistan team. Pakistan cannot even dream of playing in such a big stadium. We gave them a chance, but if you play like that, you won’t get such changes again,” he added.
Poor performance by Pakistan
The Men in Green were 155-2 but then there was a dramatic collapse which saw them get folded for 191 runs which was quite shocking. The management perhaps needs to promote Shadab Khan up the order and use him at No.5 or No.6 batting position as he can provide stability to the team in the middle overs phase.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam needs to take responsibility and make the most of the start. If Babar would have smashed a ton then things would have been different in the end for Pakistan. Pakistan needs someone who could bat deep and convert the start in the high voltage matches.
