ENG vs WI: Kemar Roach Calls On West Indies To ‘Ruin’ James Anderson’s Retirement Test

West Indies ace bowler Kemar Roach has claimed that West Indies will ruin England’s legendary bowler James Anderson’s last test match. Currently, Kemar Roach is having a good time in England playing county cricket and performing well. Other players like Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph are in the squad and will join the team in July.

West Indies will be well aware of the fact that England is a complete different team when they are playing at their home ground. England in 2023 summer had squared the Ashes series against Australia by 2-2. Head coach Brendon McCullum can’t afford to take West Indies lightly who recently won the 2nd Test match against Australia against all odds & the run of play.

West Indies pacer Kemar Roach who is currently playing county cricket in England. Kemar Roach is looking for a solid touch and will give his level best when they will face England in July for the test series. Kemar Roach also shed light on James Anderson’s test retirement, on Saturday news was flashed that James Anderson will take retirement from the test cricket after the first test at Lords. He jokingly said that we would ruin his last test.

“It’s a very highly talented and skillful group,” Roach said at the Kia Oval on Monday. “We’ve not had the best of times over here in England, so it’s more about focusing on us – not what they’re going to do for him. He’s going to get what he deserves. But it’s all about us working hard to get what we deserve, which is a series win over here in England,”

“He’s a great fast bowler, probably one of the greatest. It’s sad to see him go, but we all know you can’t play forever. He’s done fantastically for England and he deserves whatever he gets,” he added.

James Anderson has played test cricket for over 21 years and has scalped 700 wickets and became the first pacer to achieve such feet. His contribution to test cricket will remain forever in our hearts.
