Since his debut in 2019, Riyan Parag had been considered as a player who had not fully realized his potential. He had also faced significant scrutiny for his on-field expressions, including his celebrations after taking catches and his overall body language.

During a podcast with NDTV, Brad Hogg noted that Riyan Parag has shown a significant improvement in his temperament and understanding of what it takes to elevate his cricketing skills.
I am really liking when I am seeing young (Riyan) Parag. I think he has really matured this year. I don’t say this disrespectfully but I think he had a bit of ego last year. The ego is still there but it is in control. He believes in himself and he is now more worried about what he can do for the team rather than trying to seal his place in the team.”
Riyan Parag has been in exceptional form, amassing 261 runs in just five matches at an impressive average of 87 and a remarkable strike rate of 158.18. As a result, he currently holds the second position in the Orange Cap race.
Rajasthan Royals are the best-balanced team in the tournament- Brad Hogg
Brad Hogg has praised Rajasthan Royals for their astute acquisitions in IPL 2024, noting that they have become the most balanced team this season. He highlighted the addition of Sandeep Sharma as crucial, as it allows the Royals to have the luxury of two high-quality new-ball bowlers in Trent Boult and Nadre Burger. He said,
According to me, Rajasthan Royals are the best-balanced team in the tournament. I like the way how they have set their entire lineup. If Sandeep Sharma can get fully-fit as well, then he can add up as the sixth bowling option for them.”
The Rajasthan Royals will face the Gujarat Titans in their next IPL 2024 match in Jaipur on Wednesday, April 10. With four consecutive wins, it will be intriguing to see if RR can extend their winning streak.
