The shrewd leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal wasn’t included in the Asia Cup 2023 squad which raised a lot of eyebrows. Yuzvendra Chahal hasn’t got a long rope in the 50-over format which is quite astonishing as his numbers have been quite encouraging as the leg spinner can dupe the batters with his variations.

AB de Villiers was seen speaking on his YouTube channel and was quite astonished that Yuzvendra Chahal was dropped from the squad for Asia Cup 2023. AB de Villiers pointed out that having a leg spinning option for any side is great and stated that Yuzvendra Chahal has always been very handy.
“Chahal has been dropped, selectors making their intentions clear who they will be picking. It’s a bit of a disappointing drop for me, Yuzi is always very handy and it’s great to have the leg-spinning option in your team. We know how skillful he is,” said AB de Villiers.
Great Chance for India
The Agit Agarkar selection panel have showed faith in Kuldeep Yadav, the left arm chinaman recently not only has worked on his variations but also on pace which has played a huge role in deceiving the batters. It is assumed that Kuldeep Yadav & Axar Patel would be the frontline spinners against Pakistan.
